October 21st-25th is Principal Appreciation Week. Friday, October 25th is designated as Principal Appreciation Day in Illinois. This state-endorsed recognition was implemented in 1990 and is celebrated annually. Principal Appreciation Day provides an opportunity to recognize the commitment, work, and importance of principals, assistant principals, and deans throughout the state. This day also provides Carmi-White County Unit #5 an opportunity to recognize the outstanding leaders who serve our district in these roles:
Brownsville Attendance Center- Mrs. Kathy Price
Lincoln Attendance Center & Pre-K- Mrs. Amy Atteberry
Jefferson Attendance Center- Mrs. Lacey Moore
Washington Attendance Center & Pre-K- Mrs. Corey Ackerman
Carmi-White County Jr/Sr High School- Mr. Bart King, Mr. Todd Haley, & Mr. Will Knight
We are thankful and appreciate everything they do to serve the students, staff, families, and community of Carmi-White County Unit #5.
Thank you & Happy Principal Appreciation Day 2024!
