This adult only presentation, will share his story with addiction and his recovery journey. Carmi-White County CUSD #5 will be in session on Friday, February 21st. We want to keep all our students, staff, and families safe and appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation. Buses will be running normal routes where possible, however, due to some road conditions some alternate plans will be used and those affected families will be contacted. Please be aware that buses, pickup, drop off, and parking will all be handled with extreme caution to keep everyone safe and may run behind schedule. C-WC #5 is thrilled to be able to provide The Optical Academy Glasses2Classes Optical Screenings for ALL students thanks to The Absher Foundation. Forms have been sent home with all students, and another round of permission forms will be sent home this week to students who have not returned one. As a reminder, all new students to the district (pre-school, kindergarten, or transfers), 2nd grade, and 8th grade students are required to have an annual vision screening. It is our goal that ALL C-WC #5 students participate in this awesome opportunity this year!
