Winter is just around the corner and every winter we have the possibility of cancelling school due to poor road conditions. Parents and students are already on our call lists, however, we recognize that grandparents, businesses, babysitters and others would like to also know when we will be closing school due to the weather.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the power outage in Carmi, we will be dismissing early today, Oct. 31. Here are the dismissal times:
Lincoln & Jefferson: 12:05
Washington: 12:20
Junior High & High School: 12:00
CWC Brownsville Students will be dismissed at 11:30

Welcome back to school, Jefferson families! We are excited that school will start tomorrow, August 14th. Our doors open at 7:30am, students are encouraged to be at school by 8am, and we officially begin the day at 8:15am. This week, we will dismiss one hour early at 1:50pm, and our regular dismissal time is 2:50pm. We are thrilled to get kids back in the building to kick off this amazing school year! #bulldogpride

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Carmi-White County Unit #5 will have a 30-minute early dismissal for bus riders only- today, Wednesday, May 8th. Bus routes will run 30 minutes earlier today. CWC Brownsville bus and pickup times will remain the same.
Regular Dismissal and pickup times will remain the same for all other CWC schools. All after school activities have been canceled.
Please call the school office if you have any questions or need assistance.
We want to make sure we keep all of our students, staff, and families safe and we will continue to monitor the weather. We will share in adjustments in dismissals that need to be made in order to keep everyone safe. #BulldogPride

Because of the increased chance of rain this morning, we are going to push 3rd grade’s Track Day start time to 9:30am! We hope to be done by 11:30am. 2nd grade track day will be at the regularly scheduled time of 11:45-2:00. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
